Biography
Saint Agilus, also known as Agilo, Ayeul, Aisle, Ail, and Aile, was a Frankish nobleman and courtier who dedicated his life to serving God. Born around 580 in Gaul, which is modern-day France, Agilus embraced a life of faith and became a monk at Luxeuil Abbey.
