Biography
Saint Aigulf was a Benedictine monk hailing from Fleury, France. Born around 630 in the city of Blois, Aigulf dedicated his life to the monastic vocation. He played a significant role in the retrieval of Saint Bernard's relics from the Lombards. Aigulf led a group of monks on a mission to recover the sacred relics of Saint Bernard.
