Biography

Saint Anastasius of Cordoba, a devoted servant of the Church in medieval Spain, is remembered as one of the earliest martyrs of the Christian community in Cordoba. Born into the faithful, he served initially as a deacon within the church dedicated to Saint Acisclus in Cordoba. Deepening his commitment, he embraced monastic life at the renowned double monastery of Tábanos, where he further cultivated his spiritual discipline.
