Biography
Saint Auxentius of Epirus, also known as Auxentius the Furrier, was born in 1690 in Epirus, Greece. Not much is known about his early life, but he gained fame as a furrier in Constantinople, where he honed his skills in crafting garments made of fine fur. At some point in his life, Auxentius made a significant decision to join the Turkish navy....
