Biography
Saint Cameron is venerated as an early martyr of the Church, associated with Cagliari in Sardinia, Italy. Very little is recorded about his life: his birth, family, and the circumstances of his martyrdom have not survived in the historical record. He is honored as a pre-Congregation saint, meaning his veneration predates the formal canonization process established by the Roman Curia. His feast is kept on August 21. Where the documentary record is silent, the Church remembers him simply as a witness who gave his life for the faith.
