Biography
Saint Consolata of Genoa, also known as Saint Consolata of Galliera, was born near the Sea of Galilee during her parents' pilgrimage to the holy lands. Little is known about her early life, but she grew up in a devout Christian family. Her father, a wealthy merchant, went on to build a nearby convent where Consolata eventually became a nun.
