Biography

Saint Consortia, also known as Saint Consortia of Cluny, was born into the nobility as the daughter of Saint Eucherius of Lyon and Galla. She was blessed with a holy lineage, as her siblings also became saints - Saint Veranus of Vence, Saint Salonius of Geneva, and Saint Tullia. This remarkable family legacy laid the foundation for Consortia's own saintly life. One of the most notable stories about Saint Consortia involves her miraculous healing of the dying daughter of King Clotaire. It is said that her faith and devotion to God were so strong that her prayers and intercession brought about a miraculous recovery for the young princess. In gratitude for this extraordinary act, King Clotaire endowed a convent in a region of modern-day France.
