Biography

Saint Cwenburgh of Wimborne, also known as Saint Quenburga or Saint Cwénburga, was a Benedictine nun and renowned figure in early medieval England. Born into a noble family, she was the daughter of Conrad, the viceroy of Wessex, and the sister of King Ina of Wessex. Additionally, she was the sister of another well-known saint, Saint Cuthburgh of Wimborne.
