Biography

Saint Davnet, also known as Damhnat, was a remarkable woman who lived in the sixth century. Little is known about her early life, but it is believed that she hailed from Sliabh Beagh, a region in the parish of Tydavnet, County Monaghan, Ireland. At a young age, she dedicated herself to a life of devotion to God. Driven by her deep faith, Saint Davnet felt a calling to establish a religious community in her village....
