Saint Elgar of Bardsey, also known as Saint Elgar of Badsey, was a holy hermit who lived in the 11th century in Carnarvonshire, Wales. Born in Devonshire, England, in the 11th century, Saint Elgar dedicated his life to serving God and spreading the message of Christ's love. Saint Elgar's early life is not well-documented, but it is believed that he was captured and held in captivity in Ireland for several years....
