Biography

Saint Finnian of Moville, descendant of Fiatach the Fair, studied under Saints Colman of Dromore, Mochae of Noendrum, and the school of Saint Ninian. He made a pilgrimage to Rome. Ordained Bishop of Moville, Ireland, he founded the monastery of Druim Fionn and the school of Moville around 540. He
