Saint Goscelinus of Toul, also known as Gauzlino or Gozzelino, was a distinguished Bishop of Toul, located in the region of Lotharingia, which is now known as modern-day France. His life and contributions to the Church make him an important figure in the Catholic tradition. Goscelinus was born in the 10th century, although the exact year of his birth remains uncertain. Despite this ambiguity, historical records confirm that he died in the year 962, passing away peacefully of natural causes. Goscelinus' early life and education are not extensively documented, but it is believed that he received a comprehensive religious education and displayed exceptional piety from a young age. As he grew older, his dedication and intellectual abilities led him to pursue a life of service to the Church.
