Biography
Saint Hedda of Peterborough was a Benedictine abbot of Peterborough Abbey. He is remembered for his undying faith and martyrdom along with many of his fellow monks, at the hands of pagan Danish raiders. Hedda's early life remains mostly unknown, with little information available about his upbringing, family, or education. However, it is believed that he was born in England during the 9th century....
