Biography

Saint James the Syrian, also known as Saint James of Diarbekir, was a renowned monk from Amida (Diarbekir) in Mesopotamia, now modern-day Turkey. He gained recognition for his ascetic lifestyle and his reputation as a miracle worker. Though there is limited information regarding his life, his profound impact on the Christian community is widely acknowledged.
