Biography
Saint Justus of Beauvais, venerated as a child martyr, was born in the late third century during the reign of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. While accompanying his father on a mission to Amiens, France, to ransom or rescue an imprisoned relative amid the empire’s widespread persecution of Christians, the nine-year-old boy was denounced to pagan authorities as a Christian magician.
