Biography

Saint Modesta of Nicomedia, also known simply as Modesta, was the daughter of Saint Patricia of Nicomedia and Saint Macedonius of Nicomedia. She was born in Nicomedia, a city in what is now modern-day Turkey. Modesta came from a devout Christian family, and her parents raised her in the teachings of the Catholic Church.
