Saint Offa of Benevento, also known as Offa of Saint Peter's, was a renowned Benedictine nun and abbess at Saint Peter's convent in Benevento, Italy. While there is limited information available about her life, her unwavering commitment to her religious vocation and her significant contributions as an abbess are well documented. Saint Offa's date of birth remains unknown, but it is believed that she lived during the 11th century. She dedicated her life to the path of spiritual enlightenment and entered the Benedictine Order at a young age. After completing her initial formation, Offa was appointed as the abbess of Saint Peter's convent in Benevento. As abbess, Offa skillfully led and nurtured the community of nuns under her care. Her guidance and wise counsel allowed the convent to thrive both spiritually and materially.
