Saint Papylus of Pergamus, a devoted deacon and brother of the martyr Saint Agathonica of Pergamus, stands as a witness to the early Church's steadfastness in the face of imperial persecution. Born in the ancient city of Pergamus within the Roman province of Asia Minor, his life was marked by service within the Christian community. As a deacon, he faithfully served the faithful, embodying the Church's call to ministry and compassion.
