Saint Peregrinus of Amiterno, also known as Ceteo, Ceteus, Cetheus, Cetteo, Cetteus, Pellegrino, and Pelligrinus, was a remarkable figure in the early Catholic Church. He served as the Bishop of Amiterno, a city that is now known as San Vittorino, in Italy. His life and ministry were marked by his unwavering faith and commitment to justice. Born in the 6th century, Saint Peregrinus dedicated his life to serving God and His people. He was known for his gentle and compassionate nature, always seeking ways to help those in need. As bishop, he worked tirelessly to shepherd his flock and guide them in their spiritual journey. During his time as Bishop of Amiterno, the Arian Lombards, who held heretical beliefs, were in power.
