Biography
Saint Peter of Morocco, also known as Peter of Sassari, was a Franciscan Friar Minor who dedicated his life to evangelizing the Moors of the West. Born in Sassari, Italy, Peter joined the Franciscans and followed in the footsteps of his spiritual mentor, Saint Francis of Assisi. Inspired by Saint Francis' desire to preach the Gospel to all nations, Peter embarked on a mission to bring Christianity to the Moors....
