Biography
Saint Protasius Chong Kukbo, also known as Jeong Guk-Bo, was born in 1799 in Songdo, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He lived during a time when Christianity was met with intense persecution in Korea. Despite these challenging circumstances, Protasius Chong Kukbo remained faithful to his Christian beliefs. Protasius was a married layman, living in the apostolic vicariate of Korea....
