Biography
Saint Prudentius of Troyes, originally known as Galindo, was a devout priest and bishop who lived during the 9th century. Little is known about his early life, but historical documents suggest that as a young man, he fled from Spain to France to escape the Saracen invaders. It was during this period that he changed his name to Prudentius.
