Biography

Saint Secundus of North Africa, also known as Secondino or Secundulus, was a devout Christian who lived in the early years of the Church. He was born in North Africa, most likely in the 3rd century AD, and he came from a Christian family. Secundus was the brother of Saint Romulus, who also became a martyr for his faith. Little is known about the early life of Saint Secundus, as historical records from that era are scarce. However, it is evident that he grew up in a devout Christian household, where he was taught the principles of the faith from a young age. He and his brother Romulus were deeply committed to their Christian beliefs and were both admired for their piety and dedication.

During this time, North Africa was under the rule of the Roman Empire, which was hostile towards Christianity. Emperor Diocletian, known for his severe persecution of Christians, targeted devout believers
