Saint Severus of Hadrianopolis, also known as Severus of Adrianopolis, was a revered martyr of the Early Christian Church. Unfortunately, there is limited information available about his life and therefore his representation is unknown. However, we can provide the following details based on historical records and religious texts. Severus of Hadrianopolis lived during the Roman era, most likely in the 3rd century. Hadrianopolis, now known as Adrianople, was an ancient city located in the province of Thrace, which is present-day Edirne in modern-day Turkey. Little is known about his family or early life, but it is believed that he was a devout Christian who faced persecution for his faith under the Roman authorities.
