Saint Ulphia of Amiens, also known as Olfe, Ulpha, Ulphe, Wulfe, or Wulfia, was a hermitess who resided near Amiens, France. Her unwavering dedication to a life of prayer and holiness earned her a reputation as a model of piety and spiritual wisdom. Born in the 8th century, Ulphia became a spiritual student of Saint Domitius at Saint Acheul abbey, where she absorbed the teachings of her wise mentor. Deeply inspired by her studies, she sought a secluded life away from the distractions of the world, desiring to deepen her connection with God. Finding a suitable spot in the peaceful outskirts of Amiens, Ulphia established her own hermitage. Her exemplary way of life and devotion to God soon attracted like-minded individuals who sought to live a life of solitude and prayer.
