Blessed Giovanni Gradenigo, also known as Giovanni Domenico Gradenigo, was born into the noble family of Gradenigo in Venice, Italy. Little is known about his early life or family background. From an early age, Giovanni felt a deep calling to dedicate himself to the service of God and pursue a life of holiness.
