Biography
Blessed Luigia Poloni, born in Verona, Italy, entered the world on the day of her baptism, the youngest of twelve children in a pious household. Her father, a small businessman operating a combined pharmacy and grocery, instilled in her early faith. Following his death, Luigia assumed responsibility for the family finances with steadfast devotion. Deeply drawn to spiritual life, she became a devoted spiritual student of the venerable Blessed Charles Steeb. Under his guidance, she embraced the religious vocation, eventually taking the veil as a nun.
