Blessed Maria Roqueta Serra, also known as Sister Maria Refugi of Saint Angelo, was a devout member of the Carmelite Missionaries who met a tragic fate during the Spanish Civil War. She was born on 20 April 1878 in Gabarra, Lleida, Spain.
