Blessed William Tandi, also known as Blessed William, was a Mercedarian friar who dedicated his life to serving God and his fellow Christians. He was associated with the convent of San Michele del Monte in Zaragoza, Spain, where he resided and carried out his religious duties.

One of the most remarkable contributions of Blessed William was his collaboration with Blessed Peter de Tornamira in a courageous mission to liberate 212 Christians who had been enslaved by Muslim invaders in Granada, Spain. Their efforts to rescue these individuals from captivity demonstrated their unwavering devotion to the Christian faith and their commitment to the spiritual and physical well-being of their brethren.

Blessed William Tandi was also renowned as a missionary preacher in Granada. Inspired by his deep faith and love for spreading the word of God, he fearlessly shared the teachings of the Catholic
