The most striking feature of this holy life is not a list of miracles or a long chronology of events, but the sheer magnitude of a single, defining mission: the restoration of a religious order from the brink of oblivion. While many saints are remembered for the depth of their personal holiness or the breadth of their charitable works, the life of this Jesuit priest is defined by a singular, desperate necessity.
