Biography

Saint Edburga of Caistor, also known as Saint Edburga of Mercia, was a remarkable figure in the early Christian history of England. Little is known about her early life, but it is believed that she was born in the 7th century, the daughter of King Penda, who was a pagan ruler of Mercia, an area in modern-day England. Edburga's conversion to Christianity was a significant turning point in her life and would ultimately shape her legacy.
