Saint Lupo of Bergamo, also known as Lupus or Lupo di Bergamo, was a devout Christian who lived during the late 4th century in the city of Bergamo, Italy. Though not much is known about his early life, it is believed that he was born into a noble family and was married to a pious woman named Saint Adleida of Bergamo. Together, they had a daughter named Saint Grata of Bergamo. Lupo's journey of faith began when he encountered the teachings of Christianity and was deeply moved by its message of love and redemption. Eager to learn more, he sought guidance from local priests and gradually embraced the Christian faith. His conversion was considered significant, as during that time, Christianity was still emerging and faced persecution.
